Posted 10/22/2025 Spring 2026 Law Clerk Correia & Puth, PLLC, a plaintiff's employment law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a spring 2026 law clerk to start early January 2026, who shares our commitment to employee rights and who will complement our collegial firm. Position is hybrid in-person and remote work. We dedicate our law practice to the civil rights of employees in the workplace and students in schools. We represent targets of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation, with a particular emphasis on sex, race, and sexual orientation discrimination, retaliation, whistleblower claims, reasonable accommodations, and disability discrimination. We also counsel employees and negotiate employment contracts and severance agreements. Law clerks are primarily responsible for conducting intake interviews with potential clients, as well as assisting the firm in all areas of its work, including research, writing, and litigation tasks. The preference is for law clerks able to work at least 20 hours a week. We are currently seeking a talented individual to fill the vacant Chief Administrative Judge position within OHR’s Hearing Unit. This position is in the District of Columbia Office of Human Rights (OHR) Hearing Unit, and works with the Commission on Human Rights (Commission). The mission of OHR is to investigate and resolve unlawful discrimination complaints in employment, housing, public accommodations, and education, by enforcing federal and District of Columbia civil rights laws, rules, and regulations, including the DC Human Rights Act, the DC Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Criminal Record Screening Act, the Protecting Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Fair Housing Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and other laws that OHR enforces. The Hearing Unit and the Commission on Human Rights adjudicate discrimination claims at public administrative hearings after OHR has investigated and made a probable cause finding. In addition, the Commission independently processes ineligibility determination appeals under the Criminal Background Checks for the Protection of Youth Act of 2004.
